2020 was a tough year for the speaking industry. With social distancing becoming the new buzzword in business – it was difficult (if not impossible) to convince clients to engage speakers or trainers for in-person events.
For an industry that is built on interactive experiences it was grim.
But for those who were willing to learn and adapt – business kept going.
REMEMBER: clients still need training!
The in-person model still has a long way to go before it is “normal” again.
But if you can adapt and offer the same programs your clients already love in a way that accommodates their need to protect their employees you can win.
In fact if you can offer your programs online when your competitors can’t you may even attract THEIR clients to YOUR business.
